Over the past 30 years, it has expanded its network by developing international traffic, in fact in 1979, Air Niugini opened new routes, Honolulu and Singapore via Jakarta.

Air Niugini had not only enhanced its reputation by increasing the volume of international passengers, but also amplified the image of Papua New Guinea as an exotic tourist destination.
After more than 32 years of operations, Air Niugini remains committed to ensuring that national development remains the priority.
